The Sailing Team at Michigan Tech participates in collegiate regattas throughout the Midwest. Any undergraduate student may join. Most racing takes place in 420s, but we have also raced Flying Scotts, FJs, Lasers, and larger boats. Most of our practicing and racing takes place in the Fall semester, as the ice usually is not out of the Portage until the last couple weeks of school in the Spring.
